I hate to post a Fishing Report but Someone has to - Smithville Sunday 09 07 2025
It was going to me or Ripnlips since we're the only two that post fishing reports.
I know others fish and just don't post, I see them and know they're up at the ville.
Heck I fish Alex's Tree Row all the time and he's on it every single time I'm there. Didn't yesterday so maybe he was on it then also?
Started on Main lake brush, 3 spots with little success by little, I mean little fish. I had maybe one 9 incher but threw it back.
Went to the Branch arm and first spot, first drop caught a 10 incher, graph showed it was loaded. Did catch a few 7 inchers from time to time but most were keeper fish.
Stayed for my limit. I had 8 that all measured 10 and the rest 9, nothing big but was fun and hard to leave fish to find others. Big ones on the stringer for a picture, others stayed in the bucket, they were ashamed to not be photo worthy.
Look at the MUD on the belly, think he was hugging the bottom? Dang thing got my boat, graph and TM dirty. Caught several like that on the main lake.
