Why is it that once the weather starts to get comfortable enough to fish , the wind picks up .

Been a weird weather year, too much rain and now no rain. Wind certainly played a part this year as well. 28 mph winds are good days to stay home.

I agree that the wind feels good when doing yard work and other activities besides fishing. We’ve had days where I was afraid to try bank fishing when I didn’t want to take my boat because my lure could catch wind and blow back into my face.

28 mph wind at your back and you can launch some baits for distance. Other than that why bother.
