    Always something breaking here too.
The big freezer in my garage started making horrible noise like a bearing went out on the fan motor. The compressor started knocking last year and the service guy said give it its last rights and buy a new one. It stopped making the bang bang bang compressor noises on its own but now I may have to put it out its misery. It’s 20 years old this month.

    Truck looking GREAT!

    BON TEMPS!!

It's crazy one can't buy the compressor for them. I Used to Haul them by the thousands Between Bristol Compressor in Bristol, Virginia and the seaports on the Norfolk, Newport News, Virginia. Shame there aren't any here to fix appliances instead of having to replace the whole thing. Such is society today....

You can buy compressor for them. Usually under $200. Amazon has them.

    Sorry! Something went wrong!

. Pretty simple to replace with a little welding skill.
Ussally not cost effective if your paying labor unless it's a commercial type frig. IMO

I'm cleaning up the trim under the Windshield before reinstalling. 24 hours then I can drive the truck again.

It looks like the truck is about to be on the road soon!
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.

Looks better than you would get from any body shop, for a whole lot more than you doing it in your shop. Awesome job.

Yes Bud, I need to wait another 24 hours for the back Urethane to set. The installer didn't like one corner of the Cab in the back so He switched materials to build up the corner higher. That material needs 48 hours for total cure. By that time I will have the rest of the trim on and road ready it will be. The Camper cap is next. Also I may be painting one side of the Bed at a time because some of the paint pulled off where the Camper cap seal was. I don't think I want to just reinstall the Camper cap without fixing the issue. My main "Push" was to have the truck able to tow our camper down from Ross Barnett if we get hit by a Hurricane this year and I'm there.

Very nice work Rojo. It is truly refreshing to see a man who takes his craft to the point of perfection. Most people just cut to size, file to fit and paint to match and don’t care about the small details like you do. I believe you do not have a “almost good enough” standard. It’s either done right or not done at all. Very nice work ethics and superb craftsmanship. You would be a great mentor.
