Default Smithville 09 02 2025 first crappie post for September

Haven't been out much in awhile. I've been fishing ponds for bass more lately but took the boat out to the ville last night.

First drop bam 11 incher and thought it was on but nope caught one or two more in the area then moved. Second spot up river and no fish moved again, third spot one here and there but nice fish. 4th spot more of the same and lost a hoss but oh well. Had a few in the box to clean but if hands are getting dirty might as well find some more. Headed to main lake piles and caught several, threw back some dinks and over all not terrible size. Cleaned 15 didn't measure anything and might have been a couple 9's or barely unders but they all taste the same. Biggest 3 for the photo op.

Thought you were being pretty quiet on here. Good to see some good ones went home with you.

Those are some nice ones. Good to see that there are still some out there. Been a crappy year so far for me. Biggest so far this year was a couple 11 inchers. Hoping to change that soon.
