Default Quick Trip with an air show !

After dropping my wife off at her hairdresser, I drove to Lake McIntosh to fish while I waited for her to finish.
    Usually takes about 40-50 minutes.
She text me when she’s done .
Today I got to fish about thirty five minutes.
The lake is at the end of the runway at the local airport.
Ten planes were practicing their air show while I fished . It was hard to get decent pictures of them . But fun to watch .
I fished my 4’11” shortened Abu Garcia Mass Beat 3 paired with a Soare XR500spg and 2# Ande mono .
I caught two small shellcracker , three gills and a warmouth .
Beats sitting in the car .

It's a good day anytime you get a lure to hit the water. Catching some is the bonus and the air show makes it sweeter.

Very cool. Where I lived in FL had various airports nearby and on the weekends the folks that have vintage planes, some old propeller fighters, gather and tool around and just enjoy. Good for those of us that pay attention and always good to see. I’ve often thought it would be cool to go hang around the airport where they stop before they head home. Glad that you found some fish among the distractions.
