    Default Gill jigs

Stock up time since gill jig box is getting low. 1/32 on mold but actual weight is 1/43. Painted up over 50 in size #8 and #10. Used gadwall feathers with the duck jigs and Frostip rabbit on the bunny jigs. Bunny jigs are my #2 favorite now, soft plastics are a distant #3. Rarely tie anything with chenille lately. Good thing is they only take a couple minutes to tie so I can fill up a box pretty fast. Name: IMG_6300.jpg

Great looking panfish jigs Jim! I'll bet they catch about everything from sunfish and crappie to walleye and white bass.

How are your "bunny gills" tied? Is that long hair tied to the hook or is it cross-cut strips palmered on? They look like they have a lot of action in the water.

    Thanks for your post.

The bunny's are tied by just cutting a couple of small clumps of hair off the hide and tying it in on each side. I palmer wrap my bigger jigs.

Thanks for the info on tying your bunny jigs. They look "cool" and very fishy. I'm going to try them out.

    They are slap purdy!
The best thing my dad ever gave me was his love of fishing.
