Praying for those in the path. Bless them in Jesus name.I have camped there a few times. Had a shower once that put a foot or more of water in the entire campground in about a half hour. Can you imagine a 27 foot rise in such a short time.

at 3 am none of those people camping in that particular drainage stood a chance for the most part , some of the stories and things folks I know that hang around those parts told me are just horrifying ....
it wasn't just along that drainage , several other towns on the area got it really good as well , Kerrville and San Saba and even the little town by our place out west flooded too ....
we drove thru one yesterday , national weather warning system told us to get off the road at about 3 pm .....
we hydroplaned a few times due to the "ponding" effects of that much rain that quickly and ...
there was massive flooding in the town we went thru , the main intersection was about 2 feet deep under water and running in a huge wave down the highway .....
and get this part ....an hour later , clear skies and a bluebird day like it never happened , go figure
