    Default Tennessee/ Tombigbee Waterway

Fishing and weather was in a race to see which was hotter .lol Crappie logic and I put in before daylight to convince some crappie to go home with us . This getting up at 3 o'clock will make you old fast . Old school single pole . No livescope or minnows . Name: Resized_20250707_110242_01.jpg

Awesome. I’m up 3:30 every morning for work but I’d have more pep in my step if I was going fishing. Good box of groceries.

    Good job.
I've fished Bay Springs Lake a few times without luck.

On the water early and off early is the only way I can take it anymore. Nice mess…

I only minnow fish there . Tried several times with 1/100 or 1/80 oz. jigs . only a handful each time .

Good Post. Same thing on Ross Barnett. When I went at daylight I caught very well but by 11am it was really very over. I could find a bite here and there but all small.

keep sun in your face as the shadow seems to spook fish . Also minnows will allow a heavier weight to keep slack out of line so they cant spit bait before you see/feel the bite . Mainly the fish will come out of the brush to hit minnows better than a jig jmo .
