I agree his best option would be to just have a stick steer installed on his current boat. That's a nice rig.

Talk with Ultraslab about his stick boat. I’ve owned one in the past and only sold it for better range. A few boats down the road I’m back in an identical hull but different layout. Couldn’t pass on the deal. Look into a smooth moves seat. You’ll thank me one day.
