Yeah, if was a good morning. Had to keep moving between 4 spots fairly close together. Fish kept moving. What used to be my best summer spot, gets beat to death and it’s my fault. I posted a YouTube video and the spot was too easily identifiable. Two guys who fish together mist have seen it. I had never seen them in that area, but shortly after uploading, I often find them camped out on it. I’ve seen them together in one boat or each in their own boat, anchored up with corks out for hours. Having lunch. Smoking and chilling. I guess they take a bunch home, because that spot has never been the same.

Live scope is incredible. Watching the group of fish disappear, then some return a couple minutes later. Two of the pieces of structure are close enough that you could just barely cast to both from a central spot. Catch a few and off they go. Scan over and there they are on the other piece. It wild.

All fish returned to the river. One was deeply hooked and resurfaced. As soon as he was far enough away from the boat, one of the many ospreys snatched him up for brunch.
