Kayak Trip Report, White Springs
I fished White Springs today, hard day for Crappie got skunked. First time in a long time I didn't put a single Crappie in the boat. There was a huge hatch today with Gills feeding heavy on the mayflies on the surface so mid-day I changed over to chasing Gills. It seemed anywhere I dropped a small spinner I'd catch one. Culled through and kept half a limit of good ones in less than a hour. I spent the rest of the day catch and tossing back Gills. Not a bad day even with the Crappie having lock jaw.

Sounds like a ton of fun with the mayfly hatch. WTG DB!!!

Yep, no big slab Gills (I like the 9" plus ones) but could have filled several coolers with 8" fish.
