    Default Mini football jigs

Digging around looking for something different to paint and tie and found these little 1/40 football heads with #8 sickles. It's one of Sonny's molds and I poured these on one of my trips to California. Had 22 left so painted them and tied them yesterday. Used Frostip bunny hair with flash for most of them but made a few duck jigs as well. Thought I'd drag these along bottom and might catch a few more redear.Name: IMG_6261.jpg

I miss his posts too. Talked with him a few months ago, need to call him again. Good friend and was a big influence and help with my painting jigs.

I think this mold was made using a 1/32 pro mold and drilling out the cavities to make the football head. Actual weight of the pro mold ball heads are 1/43 oz.

Good looking ties Jim! They would be excellent fishing for spotted bass as well as panfish.
