Default Simple Tool for Light Line Knots

I have struggled with tying small diameter mono and braid knots. Any thin, stiff, and smooth material will work for the tool. A large sewing needle would work.

    For example -
8# braid to 8# flouro using an Alberto Knot.
Place the mono loop along side the straight shaft, then wrap the braid.
The shaft stabilizes the thin line and holds it steady while wraping.

    Others may find this useful.

I can see how this work with Alberto knot and might be good when outside and windy. I don’t have problem with Alberto knot with 6lb Nanofil and 6lb leader in my garage but for outside I’d op for uni to uni knot.
