    Default Cranking Time - Cypress Lake


    Made a mid-day trip to Cypress Lake in Benton La, yesterday and caught a variety of fish . Crappie , catfish, and bass all liked my Bandit 300 lures and color did not matter much.     Man, I love crankbait fishing for bass, but crappie on crankbaits. Thats a whole new level. Awesome job man!

    My kids love pulling crankbaits for crappie. I started doing it last year, and it’s the only method that they want to do now. I have to take someone else or go by myself to try other methods, although the small breeze created when moving around 1.5 mph helps a ton during the summer, especially when the umbrellas are up.
    If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.

    Passed by Dubisons memorial weekend coming back from New Orleans and the water still looked dirty to me.

    Pulling crank baits is relaxing to me and use that technique more than my Livescope .
