They are great seats. But if you wear shorts in the summer you better carry plenty of band aids. I bought 4 of them to go on a fishing pontoon an took them off for this reason. Them square corners with plastic plugs on the front is ruff on bare skin

I will second a cushy seat, the Millenniums are okay but the angle is weird to me. They sit high on the front and just relying on straps to keep you from tipping back. Of course they can be modified with aftermarket metal brackets. I have three millenniums one B100 green won in a raffle and two B100 grey that came with a boat I bought. I wouldn't trade one of my original 1991 Stratos cushioned seats for all 3.

My neighbor added two to the front of his bass boat , certainly makes for a more comfortable trip for two anglers.

    Default Millenium boat seats?

I have bought new cushioned seats and tried them. They hurt my back. I now have Millenium seats and have had for seven or eight years. I wouldn’t have anything else. I did use some stainless washer to adjust the tilt of the seats to my liking. I also did buy the aftermarket metal brackets from Rickie at Podunk Ideas. They are great. I would recommend taking a look at them if you get Millennium seats

I'm taking the somewhat cautious route. I'm buying one and if I like it, another later.
I have a place for a third seat so if I don't like it much, it will be the rarely used third seat.
    Thanks for the input folks!

Here's my ratings out of 10- comfort in summer is an 8, comfort in rainy weather is a 9, and comfort overall is about a 6 or 7.

I mounted my seats backward to what it says and the angle is much better. It could also be adjusted with washers between the seat and base.

I had 2 of them in my last boat and thought they were ok in the hot sun and for me no issues with sharp corners
