    there is that moment in time where they are just hanging ....
    not really biting well or hard and somewhat gentle on the take ....
    not even stacked up well is my guess , but on foot who knows for sure ....
    only them there LS guys know for sure ,is my thoughts on that part
    a few met my cooler and knife
    and black was for sure what those fish wanted to see .....
    deep and moving slowly parallel to the bottom was the key ....
    about mid way down in the water column to right on the bottom ....
    lots of that there "that might be a bite" thing going on ....
    was a splendid after noon to hit the water
    8 lb test mono , short rod and a float , 1/16 black handtie
    KABOOM

    I am that guy bro , just absolutely rip it at a whisper of a maybe it’s a bite .
    Been schooled enough by crappie and those there so soft you can’t tell it’s a bite, about 1.8 million times……
