    Default Guide ISO


    My fishing buddy FINALLY got his Agent Orange settlement. We went to Alaska for a couple weeks of fishing - great time. Now he would like to go crappie fishing 'someplace where the big ones are'. We are in Washington state, and he wants to fly in and get a guide with a boat. Suggestions? Thanks.

    to Crappie.com, first off.

    Secondly, to your question, that would depend on just how far your friend is willing to fly. Beyond that, there are plenty of professional guides in the states that are known for lakes with numbers of "big ones", most of which are likely booked up for the next month or so. Then there's each state's size limit (& creel limit) to consider, because what are considered "big ones" differ from state to state.

    Also ... if either of you have a Facebook account, you can pull up Crappie.com on there & you'll see plenty of guide ads showing pics of tables full of their catches.

    John Mayo he fishes the big 4 in Mississippi and is always on monster crappie in Grenada,Sardis,Enid or Arkabutla if you guys are willing to travel that far he is one of the very best on the planet for monster crappie you can find him on facebook.....a side note John is a very nice guy i have sent several folks his way and every one of them caught monster fish and had a great time doing it.

    Texas would be my suggestion , we are flat over run with them dang pesky crappie fish .....
    and have a zillion good guides on multiple big lakes with pretty big crappie in them .....
