Default where to weigh a fish

If a state record fish is caught. where would a person get it weighed on a certified scale? I released a large fish. This info might be useful some day again. Clinton. Perry. Leavenworth SFL areas.

If the state requires the fish is weighed on a certified scale, shouldn't they provide that source or info as to where throughout the state this is possible?

When a large fish is caught, there is a short time to keep the fish alive. Not everyone has a large aerated container available to transport. We are not allowed per regs to transport live fish. I guess the fish will die to be certified. I think I will take a picture and let it go alive. someone else can enjoy catching it.
