    Default Binder Lake 5/12/25

Been awhile since I've been to my old stomping grounds. Last several years it hasn't been very good, and for some reason the water has gone to a nice stained green to a mud brown, but it showed out today. Only fished a few hours and got three nice ones. I was skipping a black n' chartreuse Crock O Gator Zapper Jig and craw trailer towards the bank and any shallow wood.

Correction the jig was a Pigsticker Fat Back....best skipping jig I've ever used. I don't think they are being made anymore. When Merten's in Jeff City quit supplying them, I bought all they had.
