    Default Mega Live 2/Xplore question.

Got my ML2 and Xplore on my boat and went to the lake for the 1st time yesterday. I'm not getting a depth reading or temperature reading on the left side of the screen in the overlays. (I have about 5 dashes where the values should be where it says Temp and Depth) Is there something I have to do to tell it to use the ML2 for those readings? The only thing I have hooked up to the Xplore is my ML2. No network or any other transducer.

If the ML2 is like the Garmin Livescope LVS32/34, those sonar modules don’t have temperature sensors and don’t normally give the signal for depth reading, although it is obvious that they can provide depth in the right setup. If you want temperature and depth, you can connect another standard transducer (2D only is fine), get the depth and temperature over Ethernet from another Humminbird fishfinder, or from NMEA 2000 temperature and depth sensor over the NMEA 2000 network. Additionally, you may be able to use a Humminbird temperature probe.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.

Thanks! You're right, no temp sensor. Finally got the depth to show up.
