Default Back to the Town Pond . Lots of pics

I went back to the Town Pond this morning. I only took one combo , my 6’ TFO Pastime Trout and Panfish ULF , paired with my Soare XR500spg , spooled with 2# Ande line
Armed with a small flybox full of 4mm Tungsten bead size 14 jigs .
I fish from around 11:20 until 12:40 , when I walked around the pond to my car .
I ended up with seventeen gills of various sizes and an unusual small bass .
The bass has a giant worm hook sticking out the top of its head.
I used my hemostats to pull it on through before releasing it .
The gills range from 5-8”+ .
The water at the pond was about half a foot lower than the other day and had some surface scum in some areas .
I wish the water quality was better, there’s a nice population of gills in there .

Good colors on those gills, I’d have been happy with em. Ya gotta wonder how the bass got that way. Good on ya for fixing him up.
