Thread: Investigation is underway after Arrowhead Landing boat ramp shooting

I wouldn’t recommend night fishing then. Never know but I think during the day you would be ok.

That ramp is on again, off again for a trouble spot. Would help a bunch if the county sheriff would send a patrol more regularly to that location. Surprising to hear that there were over 100 people present and multiple cars hit in the gun fire. Theft at that ramp was bad for years, but not so much lately. May need to rethink use of that ramp again.

That’s one reason I never go without protection. Always shady people in and out all ion that area.

Wow I’m there almost weekly, and often at night.

I have seen people shooting aimlessly across the bay from there, and from the gravel bar.

I always carry while in there but this is scary. 100 people?

I know I’ve cleaned up a lot of trash and beer cans from these fools.

Sounds like we need to start calling the county sheriff and Wheeler Game Wardens every time they're target shooting (not allowed in the refuge) or we see cases of Beer and bonfires being built. Maybe we can make the rowdy crew uncomfortable and they'll look for a new area to party in.

can’t hurt to call limestone county if you think something might be going on. We don’t want these types ruining it for us.

I’ve also seen some characters at triana boat ramp that were still there from the night before. I often put in several hours before daylight. But I do so the triana PD driving through there regularly
