Nice little jig spinner. Jig spinners with 1" Charlie Brewer grubs are my number one bluegill catcher. Below I show a quick mod in the pictures to make your jig spinner even better. The clip on the jig spinner creates drag when cranking in. That drag will cause the jig to rotate at an angle to the side instead of running straight up and down. The clip is also a weed magnet.

Shown as I have in my pictures, I have landed 20" smallmouth. Bear in mind that is on 4lb. test with the drag set accordingly. I have found different jig spinners use different wire for their forms. The best ones I have found, and the ones I use, are the Mister Twister small size. These are what I have shown in the pictures and have held up really well. I bought a lot of different brands of jig spinners and threw them in the garbage because they did not work well for this.

By the Mister Twister small size do you mean size #0? Also what do you like more about them vs. a Betts, Beetlespin, etc.?
Yes the size 0 is the smallest size .
The best jig spinner I’ve found is the Hildebrandt spinners .
They just got too expensive, especially the gold ones .
