Default Pulling crankbaits on The Rez 4/27

The kids wanted to go with me after church, and I thought that there might be too much boat traffic in some areas to jig fish (my kids really don’t like jig fishing and spider rigging when it is slow), so I decided to go straight to crankbait pulling again. I wasn’t sure how they’d be on the rocks since the surface temps had already gotten above 80-degrees F, but we found a contour with plenty of fish waiting to bed to follow that got us 12 crappie plus a bass large enough to keep this time. We have a few times when more than 1 pole had a bite, and we even had ourselves a blast with this triple. Almost all of them still had eggs; the spawn is not done yet, folks!

If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.
