    Default Rainy day ties

I hadn't tied a thing all week so I made some 1/24 dart heads and 1/32 ball head jigs heavy on the black since I couldn't find a black jig in my tackle bag last trip. Hook sizes were #8- #12 sickles. Some simple ties using bunny hair and small palmer chenille for these. Cranked out a few dozen before stopping. Name: IMG_6072.jpg

Bunny jigs are my #2 favorite behind the duck jigs. Over the past several years Hareline really has added some nice options with Shimmer rabbit strips and the Frostip strips. Really nice stuff.

Like them all, as usual, but the chartreuse tails in the last pic are HOT! If I can ever get things settled here I’ll get back on the bench.

These are easy ties, perfect for beginners just starting out. Clump of rabbit hair tied in at head wrapped tight and finish with 4-5 wraps of small palmer chenille. Takes only a couple minutes to do one.
