    For those who fish blood river what are those wooden boxes on the shoreline in some of the bays? Some type of trap?

    Guys who noodle or grab fish for catfish put the wooden boxes and plastic barrels along the banks where they will be in 3 feet of water or so at summer pool.

    I have never fished in chocolate milk might be heading home early but enjoyed my time in your neck of the woods.

    Before you give up, try using orange jigs in your favorite spots. Might be surprised.

    Chaunc, funny you should mention trying orange we managed to get 8 and a nice cat on dreamsicle (orange and white) curly tails.
