Good job with tough conditions

Today was about numbers .
I met up with my fishing buddy at the designated boat ramp starting point around noon .
THE WIND WAS TERRIBLE- 14-28 mph , but we dealt with it !
I’m beginning to get use to fishing with it windy . Can’t change it , so we just had to move around to have the wind either behind or blowing in .
Side winds are the worse .
With the exception of a nice spotted bass I caught , the majority of the fish we caught were small , but I caught fifty two, my buddy caught thirty four . Eighty six fish were caught on lures and ultralight tackle .
My favorite combos today were my 5’2” SeaSir Stream UL and my 5’ Rosewood UL .
The SeaSir was paired with Soare XR500spg , the Rosewood , a Soare bb500spg .
Both were spooled with Ande Tournament 2# line .
I think the small diameter line helped a lot with fishing with the wind . The line performed great and the only issue I had was when an oversize green sunfish of about 5-6” flopped out of my hand and broke the line .
But held up fighting a 2# spotted bass .
Most were small but a few beauties were caught .
Nice looking fish with lots of action, good times. The wind never seems to stop blowing this year, been really tough to make accurate casts.

Those are good numbers for a strong wind day. Colors are always good on you fish. I’ll get some time Togo in a week or two.

Where are you getting your 2#Ande line from? I have been looking for some and can't find it anywhere.
