Filled a crackpot with white beans, Conecuh Sausage and a generous helping of jalapenos for this 3 day work weekend. It has become a requested lunch when I ask what they want. Let those beans cook down until they are almost a gravy. Definitely some mighty fine eating for a throw in the pot and come back latter meal. Finished off about 2 gallons of them in 2 days. Parts room guy came and grabbed the last bowl yesterday. Sadly with the weather warming up that recipe will go on the shelf until cooler weather is here again.

Sure does look good. You did justice by adding lots of jalapenos. They make everything more gooder.
Beans & Rice with any kind of Pork is a treat around here. I would like a bowl of yours' with a side of cornbread please.

No need to limit it to cool weather
We love white beans. I also add some ham cubes and lots of green onions. Gotta have corn bread also. Eating as a team was one of the things I liked about working shift work. Jack we also did meat sauce spaghetti, red beans and meat loaf as regular meals.
Makes those long 12 hour shifts some better.

Wife cooked white beans monday with sausage and ham. Cooked 2 thick pork chops in a smothered gravy to go with the beans and rice. Cut up green onions for me to sprinkle on top. This was excellent!! So good we ate it again tuesday. The chops were big so we split one each day.
