This page has always been a fantastic resource for crappie fishermen. Everything seems to be transitioning to social media. I guess that's called progress.

What are you guys using these days to discuss tips, techniques, and lake conditions?

    Facebook groups? Reddit?

    Any particular groups?

    Thanks

I suspect I'm one of the "younger" ones on here but I still prefer the old school approach.

Nothing beats time on the water and I still enjoy chatting boat-to-boat with guys chasing the same fish, whether it's on the water or at the ramp.

Honestly, the only time I pull up the internet with respect to fishing is when I'm researching electronics.

(Yes - I acknowledge the irony of me responding to this on CDC.)

Same here. I've got lots to learn on the new electronics stuff and the internet has been very valuable.

I don't use social media too much. I still prefer forum styles like this one. I live on Belews lake and just don't see a ton of people crappie fishing on the lake so I just sorta keep to myself

We've never fished there but we plan to after I retire in June.

I don't Facebook, no Instagram, or Reddit. CDC is where I go for crappie fishing info, tips, and techniques. This place has what I need and has helped me catch more and bigger fish since I signed on. There's not all the bullying, lies, drama, and nonsense like on other sites. Win/Win!

Anyone fished Sharon, Falls, or Jordan this past week after all of that rain last Sunday? Looking to see how close they are to going to the bank, seems like everything I have read very hit or miss. Still haven’t spent the money for video game fishing.

Still the same CDC and will browse online but one of the last few without social and probably will never have it. Sad to say try to get my wife to throw me a few crumbs and have her log into a group or two and see what’s going on.
