    Default Spring Colors

White has been good to me this spring so far .....but
Orange has been better most trips
one thing for sure , the other colors don't seem to be the ticket at all
not sure why but they do not want chart
nor do they want blue , black or pink
    just an fyi
AND if you use the Orange , grip the rod handle like ya mean it , they are just whacking the living fire out of it ....not even kidding

Why I like using goldfish for bait. They're hardy and last longer than minnows and kick harder in the water. I can get 2 dozen of the little one's or a dozen of the bigger one's for just over $5 bucks at Petsmart. Save the dead one's for a jig head and casting and retrieving. Not legal in many states but where you can use them they work good

I use orange/chartreuse quite a bit either in trout magnet or from a local baitshop who has small ones with black heads, orange bodies and char tails. sometimes alone but if my friends have minnows will stick a trailer on them and they really hammered them last week.

I used to adhere to certain colors pretty much year round , white and chart for sure ....
then as i began to better understand the significance of some colors versus others certain times of the year, my preferences began to swing towards some colors definitely produce much better in some spots certain times of the year .....
I can ketch fish with almost any color any time of the year , but hammering them beats ketchn a few by a country mile
