Thread: Predictable is the word

There are those once in a lifetime situations ,when you just know it's going to happen due to previous scenarios .
a few boy fish shallow in 2 fow , no girls with them , but the girl fish are nearby and some are in 6 foot of water , the day before this episode ...
the weather pattern has been steady with bright sunshine and warm temperatures .
the moon is nearly full and it's mid March .....
the wind speeds have been low and the water looks perfect .
and then .....
you walk up on your lunchbreak with a bucket in hand thinking you might have it all figured out and you predict a serious ketchn episode ....
you pitch that jig into 2 fow and about a half second after the float gets upright it goes down like a rock is tied to it !
AND then ....you fill the bucket with slabs faster than ANY of them edited shows out there . It's so far past good it boggles your mind , you feel like dancing in a circle as you rip them out of 2 fow like you have and or had a clue .....
I am here to tell ya this about that .....predictable is the word .....it just isn't one that works out like that very often .
25 big fish in the bucket in less than an hour! just on fire good and all BIG !
it truly don't EVER get any better , might go so far as to say this about that ....pretty sure I ain't NEVER been on big fish that fast or hard any time in the past .....
for sure it was a NUCLEAR KABOOM ....
there was only one issue with a stocky bass in the mix AND I even got to see a few actually take my jig in front of me , they were literally right under my feet on the bulkhead not more than 6 iches off the wall ......it you got a girl fish , you put it right back and got her boyfriend and vice versa .......
refrigerator white jig .....yum curly tail ....they wanted it dancing under my pencil float about 12 inches deep ....and.......I obliged
fish got iced within minutes of leaving there and donated to my crew when I got back to work ...
good times for sure ,and ....
a few of them girl fish were really nice specimens btw .....
and in the end, if they got to do the deed before I arrived , it was the last time they got to do it for them

What everyone said, Ketchn. It doesn’t get much better. Makes up for some of those slow/skunk days!
