You need to trace the power wires to see where they go. The HDS owners or install manual have diagrams on how to wire them.

Found the unit and a junction box, pic attached. I also found a stray yellow wire loose in the bottom. I have 2 switches on my dash, 1 factory and 1 aftermarket. Factory isn’t hooked to anything, other switch appears to have wires similar to the AT module so I thought that was the switch, especially when I found a similar set of wires unhooked in the rear compartment with the batteries. I hooked them to starting battery and still nothing. I’m going to check the in line fuse and check to see if I have a trigger wire. I also added a pick of a loose red wire under the dash that I don’t know about either.

Yes, AT.
Does it power up?
Here's another thing you should know, on here the ONLY stupid question is the one you don't ask. No matter the problem there's always someone willing to help out. That's one of the things that make this the BESTEST fishing site on the net.

No, when I have all the power on and everything else is working then it’s still off. I have a HDS 7 on the dash and a HDS 12 on the front bow and they have power but there are no lights on the AT. Do people usually run the AT from the cranking battery or add another battery?
