I am considering a trip to Henderson area last week of march. I live in North Illinois.
was considering Cajun Heritage Campground or Poche Rv park
Is The fishing I. The swamp good or a challenge to find them. I have been watching various YouTube channels and they do good but maybe because they live around there
My primary boat is down and my back up is a 16foot Alumacraft crappie Jon with 25 horse motor
has anyone fished these places ?
any experience with campgrounds ?
is the water hazardous with stumps ?
how is phone coverage in the area?

Other Sunday drive around swamp in truck yesterday looking for Landings. Today settled on Dick Davis park as the water looked clean and had a current fished four hours and no bites. I was pitching jigs at bushes docks and bridge supports. Also had a live scope saw fish but don’t know what kind Water was 75-79. A few other people out but did not talk to them
have a few more days here using a Jon boat also have kayaks may try farther south in lake by trees tomorrow

Put in here fish around the cypress trees. Not too deep.
