I fished with him once before and can actually say Me and Terry Pool Out fished him! Granted he didn't have a rod buy hey I can say I was in the boat with him and caught more crappie than him lol..... All jokes aside he's the best I've been n a boat with and I been in a boat with some helluva good fisherman!
April Fools Day is my traditional day to start my next season fishing the Rez. The aquatic herbicides has changed the fishing at the top of the Rez where I'm at all the time but the rest of the Lake has been producing for those who know how to fish it. Best of luck on your trip. I have to be back before the 5th as that Saturday is our Hazardous Waste day and I have a freezer, some engine oil, & tires to get rid of.
canebreaker thanked you for this post
Maybe. As the weather warms to a consistent spring, more fish will move to shallow spawning locations. Traditionally, the week after Easter is the best week, although it gradually gets better leading to Easter and slowly starts tapering off to early summer patterns—it doesn’t just turn off and turn off. With DST, I’m sure that I’ll be trying The Rez in the evening after work and on the weekends, if I don’t have any of the kids’ activities interfering.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.
Pres Trump said we have a 50/50 country. 50% wants to stay on Standard time & 50% wants continuous DST. I'm the latter, like you that extra evening hour of daylight is welcome with me. My bride wants Standard time. We are 50% just in a house with only 2 people. Go figure.
Standard time, start the day at 4 am so it will be a cool start before it gets hot in the fields.
Daylight savings time, A later start in the morning, Finish the day at 9 pm.
I miss the younger days of working the fields at daybreak. I don't miss the evenings of having dinner then head to work the 11/7 shift.

Yes, it looks like wind coming from the north in the early part of the week, which can get worse than from any other direction on The Rez. However, it looks like I might be able to sneak away for a couple of hours after work a few days this week if some things go my way.
