Thread: Cotaco Friday

Took the day to try Wheeler after seeing there would be some wind and not wanting to drive to Guntersville. Managed to trick 14 keepers. Lots and lots of small crappie. No blue gill was a surprise after that’s all I could seem to catch there Monday. They wanted it very very slow right on the nose. Pearl white BG with a chartreuse head was the ticket. Most came off of one single stick on the edge of a break. Unfortunately I forgot to plug in my charger for the “fish cheater” as my wife calls it, so once the battery was dead I switched over to a bobber drifting it into lay downs. Didn’t find the numbers under the float but the quality was good.
