I checked out Ratliff ferry landing today. It looks great. If the weather ever gets right I'm going to give it a try.

    Thanks Guy's for the info

You can get yourself a good burger there at the trading post at Ratliff Ferry, just in case the fish do not want to cooperate.

I checked out Crystal Lake today. Nice landing. The water is very muddy. Does it clear up? Is there crappie in it?
    Thanks for your help.

It clears up when the river is out of it. Gonna be muddy til summer. Better in the fall when it cools off because it is shallow.

Is it worth trying in spring for spawning crappie?

If the river gets out and it clears up. Been a while since I’ve fished it in the spring.

I've never crappie fished it. use to bass fish it. It does clear up early sometimes. That's where I used to sight fish when bass were bedding. It's got to have crappie I would think.

IF the waters not up and it's dry enough, you can go out Lake harbor Road, east of Tommys trading post and hit pipeline road. It takes you way back in there and there's a couple of spots you can drag a yak down to the water. Just watch out for gators
