Launched before daylight and ran south to the Old Camp canal. Immediately noticed bass and sac a lait up shallow busting fry. Started fishing shallow with a 2 inch Googan Baits Snacky Swimmer in the toxic waste color paired with a 1/16 oz death grip jig head. Presentation was slow rolling the swim bait near any hard cover and vegetation up shallow. Fish were aggressively feeding for about the first 2 or 3 hours of the morning before the bite died. Ended up catching and releasing 5 or 6 bass, 4 sac a lait and about 10 bluegill and goggle eye.
Searched all over after and threw the kitchen sink at them without so much as a nibble. Since the bite died i ended the day around 11am to take advantage of the pretty weather and pick up a sack of crawfish from Hole N Da Wall to boil.
I attached a picture if the area I was fishing if anyone plans on fishing that area.

Thank you. Not the results that I wanted to see in that area after seeing reported fish kills for Hurrican Ida. I'll be traveling for my son's baseball tournament this weekend. Hopefully I'll have some good reports for the following weekend.
Nice catch
