Default 3rd Straight Saturday--Records Set in Kerr Lake Tournament

My fishing partner Charles and I have had the privilege of fishing three different tournament trails the past three Saturdays. Two were on Jordan Lake and the third was yesterday on Kerr Lake at Bobcat's tournament. Both Jordan tournaments saw record weights brought to the scales.

As we brought our fish to be weighed in, I heard a team had weighed in two 3-pound fish and were in second place!!! I couldn't wait to see the scoreboard and see the totals. The team of Jack Bellamy and Tripp Lehman had 17.28 lbs, a weight total I had never seen in my life. 2nd place with a total of 17.22 went to Jeff Poston and Ricky Poston. What makes these weights so incredible is that we started fishing in 20 degree weather with the lake 8 feet high. I count it a privilege to be part of a tournament in which such incredible crappie were brought to the scales.

I took a picture off of Bobcat's Facebook page and assume this is the winning team. If somebody can confirm that and if any pictures of the second place team are available, please post them down below. Thanks.

Amazing weights under some really tough water conditions. I believe there is more to come in the next few weeks!

Wow, that's big weights. I have never seen a 3 lb crappie in person.
