    I see you're a Navy veteran. Thanks for your service. I'm a retired Navy Chief. I served from 1976-1998. I went on to become an elementary school teacher and retired from teaching in 2018. Now I get to fish and tie jigs. I give away a lot of jigs to kids and their parents that I meet on the lake. Life is good.

    Very nice , like that they are not so full that fish can easily get hooked .I am a red ear artificial bait guy that tips with a mealworm .

    Sometimes I use a double jig rig with the 1/32 on the bottom and the 1/64 about 8-10" above it. I get most of the red ear on the bottom jig. I tip them with meal worms or wax worms too. I love bream but the red ear fight twice as hard and get a lot bigger. Nothing better than fighting a big red ear on ultralight.
