    Default Letting your jigs cure

How do you folks let your jigs cure, I have seen people put them in water, or just let them hang on a piece of pegboard, what’s the best way. I usually after taking them out of a mold just let them sit there for a few moments then pull them off and bag them. Is that ok?

I have a rack I made and let any jig hang there that needs dry/curing. I also have a cheap dish rack from dollar store and cut every other one out. Works good and usually what I use.

I've seen them hanging from either a peg board or nail in the wall

can you tell me the reasons for that, I am new to pouring, and I usually pull mine out of mold, then about a hour I bag them, is that wrong?

I not sure anything is wrong. When I started, most of the bait pourer folks i watched said they left theirs out for 5 or more days to cure. These folks were selling baits.

When pouring, as soon as they are cool enough to handle, I cut the sprue off and toss it in the pot and the jig in a pile. I use powder paint and cure it in an old toaster oven. When the painted jigs are cool enough to comfortably handle, I put them in a box and paint another batch.
