Had a great day on the water today. Ended up with some really nice perch, about 20 crappie and 3 stripers. All the fish came on a combination of jigs and minnows. It’s been a long time since i caught a bunch of perch. Can’t wait to fry them up!!!

Was this the NW River or somewhere else in NC?

It was not the NW River. But I think they catch all the same stuff on the NW River. I think I’m gonna try somewhere off the James River next week. We caught a cooler full of Crappie,Perch, and bluegill today. Had to fight the wind all day though.

There can be some good fishing at that little ramp next to the Southampton courthouse in the town of Courtland.
