Good update. Sounds like that braid did extreme well for you.

A few years back, one of you sent me some Daiwa jigheads and a spool of Night Game braid. This is just a downstream report of how it’s done for me. I put it on my president XT 20 and I’ve caught countless fish with it. As with all the small braids it weakens after months of use it the business end. I attribute this to funk in the film that’s ever present on lots of the places I fish and the sun. I’ll go to retie a leader and the line will break when I pull it tight or test the knot. Peel off ten or so feet of line and the strength is good and it goes back into play. This happened yesterday and I noticed the backing visible through the braid on the spool. It’s been every bit of three years I believe and I have zero complaints or negative comments about this line in 4 lb or any of the Varivas lines I’ve been using. Well worth the price. Had I turned it around and used the other end it may still be going. Hope this helps someone doing their homework, and thank you to the member that sent it to me in the first place. I think I remember who but I don’t want to misspeak.

Glad it semi worked out for you Skeet. Stan used it for years on some of his outfits and may still have it on a few. He likes braid for everything including float fishing. I’ve been sort of MIA but will try to get back on here more often. Happy fishing!

VCM, I looked hard to find some and Digitaka was about it and they were always sold out. Then I bought and was given some Varivas and now it’s on most of my rods. The nightgame has caught some large above average fish for me. Hope all is well your way.
