    Default Tough weekend at Larto

Well me and a couple buddies went to Larto this weekend after they got 2.5" of rain the night before. So I knew the fishing was going to be super tough! I only managed to catch one really nice crappie, but it was my favorite type - A Racing crappie, my biggest Racing crappie! We threw a few more small ones in the box and one of my buddies caught a 13", but that was about it. As far as the weather, it was BEAUTIFUL! So the lack of fish was ok. Only have a couple pictures but it was a really fun weekend overall!Name: IMG_20250203_071638.jpg

Yea it was a tough weekend with all that fresh water. Don’t worry people who live there didn’t do any good! Hopefully next time I’ll be off work and get to see you out there! Nice slab though!

High bluebird sky and fishing usually don't go well. At least for me anyway.

Glad you made a good trip out of it!! I’ve been training my lab to retrieve “non existent” ducks! Haven’t been crappie fishing this year. Feeling the urge to go, so your report makes me want to go!!

Thanks for the report! Keep them coming!
