    Default Just a couple

Worked six days this week and was kinda burned out Saturday afternoon. Got a good nights sleep and cleaned up and went to church and picked up some lunch on the way home. All that done it was time to look into a little fishin. Loaded up five rods and went to see what was in the no wake zone that might make me smile. First shoreline had already been picked clean by some bank fishers so I eased over to some deeper water. The down side is that this water was still moving pretty good and it took more weight to get down ten feet or so before it got blown away. Went through the motions and got a few bluegill bumps but nothing special. Dropped again and gave it about a one foot lift and dropped it, but it never came tight again. Set the hook and here we went. Slid her into the net, made her famous and back she went. This one had a bit of a gut forming so I guessed it as a female but may have been a male on the way home from the buffet. Back over the side and looking for more. Didn’t happen for a while. I’d changed rods and threw up near a notch in some likely looking weeds and got what we all live for, a good solid thump. A good fight and not quite as big as the last but if I’d kept them both dinner would’ve been just fine. They’re both still there so go find em when ya can. Thanks for reading and here’s the stars of todays show. Til next time…..Skeet

BFF, I honestly never looked. Thursday the water temps were mid fifties but we’ve had some good weather this past week.
