    Default Super Nice Day

The weather was beautiful today , upper fifties to low sixties , sunny with light winds to start .
I arrived at the Town pond around 11:30 armed with two combos . I started fishing with the shorter one , a 4’6” Palms Quattro XUL , paired with a Shimano Soare bb500spg and 2# Floroclear.
I caught a bluegill on my first cast and realized I’d forgotten my fishing towel in the car . Caught another bluegill on my second cast and decided I needed my towel , walked back to my vehicle and left the second rod in the car , deciding to fish the day with the Quattro, it was that much fun to fish with .
Casting a 4.6mm tungsten bead jig , I was getting around sixty feet casts if I timed the breeze just right .
Later on I switched to a lighter jig , ( a 4.0mm bead jig) caught a few fish , then the wind picked up and I had to go back to the heavier jig .

I CAUGHT FIVE BLUEGILL today . Made my day . I also landed eight LM bass that were a blast on the little short rod , but I am a gillchaser , BUT , I will take what I can get .
I left headed home at 2:45 . I was at the pond around three hours , but actual fishing time was only about two .
Between walking back to my vehicle and a nice lady talking to me for over thirty minutes.
That’s the bad part about fishing the pond with the town’s walking track at my back , everybody wants to talk to the old guy fishing . LOL !

I added a pic of my new Presso , lure Wallet . I’m experimenting with lure wallets to hold my jigs . This is the smallest of the ones I’ve bought . And would have been the most expensive except I found one on Asian Portal . Was hesitant to order it from them , but took a chance because they accepted PayPal without me having to make an account. Ordered this one and the medium size . They were fast shipping and I got them in about five days .

Nice trip. I’ve ordered a lot of gear from Asian Portal. I need to get some of those Presso spoon wallets. Just not happy with how I’m storing them now.

Neat little rod and a bunch of good fish, win-win! I worked today and not sure I’ll get a chance tomorrow but I hope so.

This small size wallet has a carabiner that I clip on a belt loop and clip some line snips on the carabiner.
    Neat little tackle carrier.
I’ve also bought a bigger one made by Klyebooker off Amazon for about $15 . The Kylebooker has several sections , like pages that you can hook jigs or lures on . It also has a carabiner .
    It’s approximately 5”x7” by 2” . Not huge .
