Braid line revisit...
Has anyone bought and tried this Proberos brand line from Amazon? I bought a roll to try hoping for it being exactly what was written: PE line from Japan. @$7/roll of 100m i figured why not, it sure look JDM line under different name?

I’ve had a love/hate relationship going on with braid this past year .
It has pros and cons . I’ve mostly been using 6# Daiwa X8 J-braid , that’s supposed to be 1.5# test diameter.
Since I’m a 95+% of the time a micro jig fisherman , with jigs under 1g or 1/32 ; it’s all about distance and the 2# P-Line Floroclear wins most of the time .

I found a spool of blue and ordered some . I like the Daiwa Island Blue in the J braid.
The price is nice .

Although this Proberos brand braid line does look the part, Gillchaser, I might just try out a spool of the J braid as well. I honestly think these braid line at 6lb or even 4lb breaking strength will come handy someday. Seeing the size of LM bass some members hooked on these little 1.5 to 2.3 pound JDM line had me cringing at the thought...lol.Originally Posted by gillchaser999
