    Default Giants

We caught the giants today! We finally the giant crappie in open water eating giant shad! We caught a dozen fish over 17",and three over 18"! They were literally in class sized schools under house sized schools of 4" shad so thick that a 1/16" jig would not fall. Oh wow what a trip. When I would fight the 17" crappie toward the boat and biomass of 4" shad would part, and panic clear a hole in the bait and you could see the 17 x 11 mirror flashing from six feet down, it was almost too much to absorb!

I'd be happy with one of those jumbos. You hit the mother lode. Amazing that you were able to get the whole fish on camera.
