Fished yesterday ahead of the huge rain front. It was so good, I decided to stay to catch and release. Only quit because of wind and this old man getting tired. Planned to stay till I caught 100 keeping size. Through in the towel at 85 and several dinks. Caught them all on trash jig made with Dollar General (sack). I have an electronic fish counter that I can count fish kept and ones released. Been awhile since I released so many 11 to 13'' Crappie in one morning. Took home a limit of 13 to 15'' Crappie . Invited 3 different friends but none could go. Bet they were sick when I told them fishing was crazy good. I give fishermen I meet one of my trash jigs but most think it is a joke. These things last several times longer than any commercially produced jig. I super glue the layers of thread wrap and the plastic sack on with the thread.
