    Default Good deed

On my way home today I saw something in the road that caught my eye. Pulled in a parking lot and got out to grab it. It was a women’s wallet, full of cards, approx $70 cash, and 2 checks, uncashed, totaling $5000…

No drivers license but was able to contact a local bank and told them the name on the bank card and told them to contact the member and let them know I had found the wallet and give me a call.

They called within 5 minutes and didn’t even realize the wallet was gone. Was able to return the wallet to the owner within about 20 min of finding it. Very good feeling to get this persons property back to them.

Now a public service announcement. If you don’t already, I HIGHLY reccomend putting something in your wallet with your phone number on it. You should already have your ID with your name and address, but having something with your phone number on it ensures if you do loose your wallet, that someone can contact you to tell you it’s been found. Makes the processes much simpler.
