    Default Bulk Minnow

Been a while. Moved to eastern NC over the summer. Spent most of the summer chasing trout and reds. Fall was all about the ducks with the dog. Now time to get on some of these rivers and chase some crappie. Just wondering if anyone knew of a place to purchase minnow in bulk. Leaving from the house does not always make it convenient to go by a bait shop. I have a bait tank ready to go but do not know of anyone around here to purchase from. Looking for something as close to Washington as possible. Thanks.

If you can talk to the bait delivery person and ask if you can buy direct from him. He will most likely tell you he can't! Here is the way around that. You need to get the owner of the store where he delivers, to say he will add it to his account, and you would pay the store price to get the minnows. You must have a tank large enough to hold whatever amount, of minnows you want to purchase. Store owner may want his price for the minnows or let you get them at his rate from the minnows' farm. Worth a try!

    Shop - Anderson Minnows

They will overnight them to you via FedEx. Been dealing with them for years, never had an issue I buy 5 pounds at a time of either #12 or #20 Golden Shiners. Probably too big for your area, but they have smaller sizes.

WOW! Pretty expensive since I had just called a place in SC that sells a lb of fatheads (smalls) for $22.
